Marketing Recommendation for NWTC Website

My first recommendation for the NWTC website is based on data comparing mobile versus desktop traffic. The data shows that most users access the website from a desktop computer. However, given today’s technology trends, many people frequently search for information on their mobile devices.

There were noticeable differences in engagement between mobile and desktop users, particularly on pages such as the Radiography program page and the Events search page. In both instances, mobile traffic and engagement were significantly lower than desktop traffic, as shown below.

In both cases, the mobile experience appears to contain too much information to navigate easily. As a result, users may abandon the mobile view and revisit the page later on a desktop device, where it is easier to sort through detailed content.

For the Events search page, I recommend adding filtering options that allow users to break down results by category, date, or event type. This would improve usability and reduce scrolling on mobile devices.

For the Radiography program page, I recommend incorporating collapsible dropdown sections or categorized content blocks. This would allow users to expand only the information they need instead of continuously scrolling through long sections of content.

These improvements would enhance the mobile user experience, reduce potential abandonment, and better align the site with modern user behavior trends.
