A Walk Down Memory Lane

Ever dream of meeting some of the bands you listen to every day? I definitely have. I’ve always loved music—pretty much all kinds—and I listen to a wide range of artists from many different genres. Over the years, I’ve caught myself wondering what it would be like to actually meet the people behind the music that I enjoy so much.

Because I enjoy going to concerts and listening to live music, I started looking for opportunities to meet some of the artists themselves. Meet-and-greet tickets usually cost a little extra, but depending on the artist, I think the experience can be completely worth it. In fact, there have even been times when meeting the band members made me appreciate their music even more.

In the following pages, I’ll share some of my most memorable meet-and-greet experiences and what I thought about the bands. The bands include Shinedown, Papa Roach, Starset, and Volbeat. I’ll talk about my experiences meeting them and share some interesting facts about each band.
